COVID-19 UPDATE
As we all know, the Coronavirus pandemic has impacted everyone in one way or another.  For the AWCC, it has caused us to cancel all three of our largest fundraising events this Spring - Trivia Night, Spring Craft Fair and Spring Yard Sale.  This will have a major impact on how we can give back to the community because we simply will not have the funds that would have been raised from these events.

The AWCC is a 501(c)3 organization.   Our members work really hard on these events and ALL funds raised go back to the community through our various programs.  Please consider making a donation to the AWCC to help the residents of Atkinson.  LEARN MORE about how we give back to the community.  

Right now, we are helping the community by sewing and distributing masks and collecting food and donations for local food banks.  Learn more about these activities on our Upcoming Events page.

2023 Memorial Day Parade

Thank you to all who served or are serving our country.  The Atkinson Women’s Civic Club was honored to walk with Veterans, and other organizations in town today,  in the towns annual Memorial Day parade and hand out flags.  We also hosted a Bike Decorating Contest.

Ages 0-2: First Place: Blake Bailey, age 10 months; Second Place: Emerson Gallagher, age 1; Third Place: Cecilie Iani, age 2; Honorable Mention: Callum Gallagher, age 2.

Ages 3-5: First Place: Ryan Gallagher, age 4; Second Place: Asher Kidd, age 4; Third Place: Noelle Iani, age 4.

Ages 6-10: First Place: Brooke Bailey, age 10; Second Place: Grayson Kidd, age 7; Third Place: Harper Walker, age 6.
